Attending the event were representatives of leaders of partner agencies, leaders of units of Viettel Military Telecommunications Group, leaders of units under VNU and COLT.

SAE is a unit of University of Engineering and Technology, VNU, was established under a cooperation agreement between VNU and Viettel Group. SAE conducts training and provides highly qualified human resources for Aerospace technology at the undergraduate and graduate levels; studying and developing technologies and scientific products in the field of aerospace to meet the civil and security requirements of the country; Providing consulting services, technology transfer - knowledge in the field of aerospace technology in and outside the country, ...

Assoc.Prof. Dr Truong Ninh Thuan presented the program and action plan of School of Aerospace Engineering

At the launching ceremony, on behalf of the Board of Directors, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Truong Ninh Thuan - Deputy Director of SAE presented the program and action plan in the coming time. The school will focus on building material facilities, practice rooms ... meet the requirements of training programs; Institutional stability, invite prestigious experts to teach students guidance; implementing modern governance methods; develop key studies; develop relationships with domestic and international partners; regularly organize academic exchanges.

Speaking at the ceremony, VNU Director Nguyen Kim Son confirmed that the launching ceremony of School of Aerospace Engineering was a great day for UET, VNU and Viettel. It is also the joy of those who longed for the ideal of developing a technology sector that is very beneficial but challenging in Vietnam. After a long period of deployment, determined to implement today School of Aerospace Engineering of UET was established.

VNU Director Nguyen Kim Son addressed at the ceremony

The Director sends congratulations to the Board of Directors and the UET. The field of aerospace technology for VNU in particular with Vietnam is an area that can be said to be new and difficult with many challenges, which are areas of great potential, significance and great value. work on many aspects. Challenges ahead very great, the road to success many thorns. But overcoming the challenge of reaching the height of the universe will turn that challenge into great opportunity and growth and the deployment of research and training in the field of aerospace. Can bring national interests, bring national vision for centuries to come. It is a concern for future generations, demonstrating the level of people involved in the research and development of a science and technology field - the interdisciplinary science and technology sector that needs to be the source. Great power, focus on investment, determination and human factor.

In the immediate future, the leaders of the Institute and the School need to have specific plans for each month and every year so that the first training program will be of good quality. The number of enrollments will not be great, but from the beginning it must meet the best quality standards to meet the demand of high quality human resources of Viettel Group and enterprises to create prestige and create momentum for the development. later on. Quickly prepare the human resources, resources, research topics and priority policies to support the Institute to quickly stabilize and develop.

The Director emphasized that VNU will focus on the highest priority for the development of the Institute in a comprehensive manner in the areas of finance and resources. In the future, it is hoped that the cooperation between VNU and Viettel Group will continue in other fields to be deployed in order to operate between the two sides and expand their scale and depth of cooperation.

Along with the establishment of SAE, VNU has approved the training program of aerospace technology. This is a standardized access training program of the world's leading universities, focusing on basic skills training and the foundation technology of Industry 4.0. The lecturers of the COLTECH together with national and international experts (including experts from Viettel Group) will coordinate the teaching of this program. The contents of experiments and practice will be carried out in the aerospace research laboratories of VNU, Viettel Group and the Vietnam Space Center. After 4 years of study, students will receive a degree in Aerospace Engineering and have the opportunity to work and participate in projects on aerospace in Viettel Group, Vietnam Space Center and applications. The first enrollment will begin in the second semester of the 2017-2018 school year.

Speaking about the aerospace training program, Brigadier General Nguyen Manh Hung, General Director of Viettel Military Telecommunications said: "Only about 20 people are recruited and trained each year. We also do not make any commitments about the incentives that you will receive. What we can commit is the number of challenges that you will face right from the moment you step in. We also do not commit to receiving you on Viettel to participate in this journey. For anyone who has gone through 4 years of intense study, completing projects that no other Vietnamese can do, with the will and spirit of the warriors, Viettel will have to invite all of you on the team."

Prof. Nguyen Van Hieu was speaking at the ceremony

Prof. Nguyen Van Hieu said that right now, the SAE has a lot of work to do, should immediately propose the task of monitoring the ground from the satellite image for the warning Early risks for natural disasters such as flash floods occur in the northern mountainous provinces; The School can carry out tasks to assist fishermen in broad-based marine navigation through GPS technology.

Rector Nguyen Viet Ha expresses his determination to develop the aerospace technology

Demonstrating the determination of the UET in the development of aerospace technology, Rector of Nguyen Viet Ha University said that besides careful preparation and hard work for the objectives, we will take experiences gained in research and training from 4 departments operating in the university to successfully complete the interdisciplinary training program of aerospace technology; Close cooperation with agencies and partners in the field, especially with Viettel Group, to accelerate the development of the institute, promote training and research.

SAE conducts training and provides highly qualified human resources for aerospace technology at the undergraduate and graduate levels; To study and develop technologies and scientific products in the field of aerospace to meet the civil and security requirements of the country; Providing consulting services, technology transfer - knowledge in the field of aerospace technology at home and abroad. Besides training, SAE will deploy some research orientations on image processing technology for UAV reconnaissance, satellite reconnaissance; UAV transmission technology; MEMS technology used in micro motor manufacture; optical technology applied to optical rotors; navigation and control technology; missiles and satellites, ...

The program of training engineers in Aerospace Technology will enroll students from the first year students in the field of information technology and electronic technology, electronics and telecommunications technology and the group of technology. Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering, passionate about aerospace and accept challenges. The next course, the program will enroll under the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.

During the study period, students will receive full scholarships from Viettel Group and its partners.
